metal:
Clean with damp lint free cloth, then dry.
wood:
general maintenance:
Wipe dust off with a lightly damp, lint-free cloth. To protect the surface always use drink coasters and place mats. Wipe any spills up immediately. Use protective pads under hot dishes. Cover the bottoms of all tabletop accessories with felt pads. Do not expose wood to extreme changes in humidity. Do not place wood in direct sunlight.
oil finish maintenance:
Periodically buff with a lint-free cloth to renew the shine. The more you buff, the better it looks. Spills can be cleaned up with a damp cloth or vinegar and distilled water solution. Buff dry after wiping. A coat of oil should be applied once a year. Danish OilOnly Available as shown in White Oak with a soy finish can be purchased through The Old Wood Co.
wax finish maintenance:
Periodically buff with a lint-free cloth to renew the shine. The more you buff, the better it looks. When needed, apply a coat of Wax and then buff with a soft, lint-free cloth. Wax can be purchased through the Old Wood Co.
deep cleaning:
Clean with mild solution of Murphy Oil Soap and distilled water. Then reapply either Danish Oil or Wax, depending on existing finish.
warranty
Metal bases are warranted against manufacturing defects for (1) one year following the invoice date. Wood tops and parts are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of (1) one year following the invoice date. This warranty is valid only when the furniture undergoes normal use under the conditions for which it was intended. Due to the nature of the wood, joints may shift or move over time. The Old Wood Co., at our discretion will repair or replace items that fall under the terms of the warranty.
